The frustrating part was that its weak spot can only be accessed in short spurts.
One you manage to climb onto its head, you can actually steer it around by hitting its…teeth? The ability to maneuver the creature around in order to reach higher ground, and the water setting, made this battle an interesting one. It dwells in a lake and made no delay in firing balls of electricity as soon as it saw me. It’s also a very annoying battle because getting onto its exposed belly can be quite difficult, making the battle quite frustrating when you fail to get in even a single hit during the short time it is stunned.Ħ: Pelagia (12) – This colossus is an odd one. Even so, this battle is interesting because it takes place inside a huge colosseum, and you must lure the creature upwards in order to knock it down and stun it.
I couldnt be happier that this remake happened.The graphics, sound, everything has been. Ive played it on ps2, loved the remaster and now im able to play the remake of one the best action titles ever created. This world is truly the biggest I’ve ever seen. Ive played it on ps2, loved the A masterpiece reborn Ever since i heard shadow of The colossus was getting a remake i was overjoyed. To my recollection, this is the first colossus that actually managed to kill me. Shadow of the Colossus spellbinds with the only thing bigger than the Colossi: the environments.
While this is still a cool battle due to sheer scale, I did find it rather confusing that I had to rely on the creature to stomp in just the right spot in order to create a ramp for me to climb.ħ: Kuromori (8) – This creature is kind of like an armadillo, but unlike an armadillo, it is insanely aggressive. But this late into the game, something more unique would have been appreciated. 8: Argus (15) – The second to last colossus is sufficiently huge and intimidating.
